It is essential to be a driver and have your own vehicle that you are willing to use for business purposes. Essential to have the right to live and work in the United Kingdom. There will be occasional evening and maybe weekend work. Main Duties of the Job

An opportunity to join the CWPT School Aged Immunisation Service that provides school-based immunisations in Primary and Secondary schools across Coventry & Warwickshire. This is a Public Health role that would be perfect for a Registered Nurse that is passionate about addressing Health Inequalities and Health promotion through advocating for vaccine uptake. The Role will give the successful candidate an opportunity to work in collaboration with local schools to uphold and increase vaccine uptake through health promotion. Responsibilities include: Planning, assessing, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions for the client group. In conjunction with the Band 6 nurse, clinically prioritising and organising the immunisation and vaccination schedule for the school year. Being responsible for immunisation sessions at school and in clinic, providing supervision for junior staff. Contributing towards the development of public health initiatives. Managing a case load of schools as Named Nurse. Providing advice and support to children, families, schools, and communities on immunisation issues. Ensuring timely and accurate data entry to demonstrate improving data quality on the electronic system. Maintaining excellent verbal and written communication skills. Person Specification

Qualifications

Registered Nurse Current Registration NMC Continuing CPD Skills and Knowledge

Experience of working with children Knowledge and skills in the assessment of and intervention with children and young people Good written skills Experience

Broad range of experience in working as a qualified nurse Must have some post-qualification experience Evidence of effective caseload management Other
