Apprentice Public Relations & Communications Assistant , you’ll play an essential role in shaping how the Council connects with the community. Under expert supervision, you’ll gain hands-on experience across all aspects of public relations and communications, including: Planning and delivering PR campaigns and strategies. Writing engaging press releases. Creating compelling content for print, online, and social media platforms. Monitoring and responding to public and media opinion. Supporting Council events and initiatives. You’ll collaborate across various departments, building a strong understanding of the Council’s work and priorities. Your creative ideas and communications expertise will help influence public perception, engage residents, and achieve key objectives for the Council. What You’ll Learn While working, you’ll complete a Level 4 Apprenticeship in Public Relations, combining practical on-the-job training with structured learning.
