About the Role: You'll help grow our profile in the UK and Ireland, developing the image and reputation of the organisation. This includes media relations, corporate communications, reputation management, and crisis communication activities. You will report to the Senior Manager External Relations. This role is hybrid; we meet in the office at least once a week. You Will: Deliver public relations activities to enhance organisational reputation and to support value propositions, including developing external relations platforms to deliver important messages. Develop relationships with media, journalists, and influencers; manage inquiries, press attendance, and coverage of high-profile Association events. Deliver assigned corporate, executive, and leadership communications activities, including working with spokespeople, experts, and volunteer leaders to represent organisational positioning, important messages, and advocate on main issues, provide counsel, and prepare for speaking engagements. Monitor business, finance, and accounting issues with reputational impact on the profession and Association. Develop and deliver corporate communications collateral and assets. Write and deliver content for media, social media, communications channels, and partners, including press releases, by-line articles, blogs, social posts, our Press Centre, and website pages. Manage and utilise communications and media resources, including guidelines, media databases, and reporting tools. You Have: Experience in public relations and communications or journalism in a corporate or agency environment. Experience working with media through a variety of channels and a background in crisis communication and reputation management. Experience working on communications programmes.
