In this pivotal role, you will take charge of several non-audit clients, applying your problem-solving prowess to tackle complex technical issues, including specific accounting challenges, new standards implementation, and financial management/governance.

Your remit will also include business development, fostering new relationships, and contributing to the innovation of new service offerings.

As a manager, you will cultivate and lead your team to excellence, ensuring strong working relationships with both your team and clients.

Your ambition will drive you and the business to new heights, with robust support at every stage.

To thrive as a Public Sector Accounting and Financial Reporting Manager, your profile should include:

A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA, or CIPFA) ideally with some experience in industry. Experience in External Audit for Local Authorities and Health bodies or within a Local Government or Health finance function. Proficiency in IFRS and public sector financial reporting.
