About the opportunity:
Critical care team includes 35 faculty members, 21 advanced practitioners.
A 229-bed hospital, part of a health system that includes 13 hospitals – 3 academic and 8 community hospitals.
Cover 4 medical ICUs 24/7.
8-bed ICU with a typical census of approximately 6 patients per day.
Thursday through Saturday schedule (156 night shifts per year).
The subspecialists provide care in Bariatrics, Vascular, Thoracic, Breast, Colorectal, and General Surgery.
Academic rank will be at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level.
Faculty development opportunities are abundant for individuals wishing to pursue additional training as medical educators.
