£34 - £39 per hour The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 8a Oncology Pharmacist to join our team in Chichester. This is a locum position with an immediate start, running until 26 January 2025. Key Responsibilities: Support the Oncology Pharmacy service. Utilize the Aria electronic prescribing system. Provide expert clinical knowledge to a wide variety of healthcare professionals. Deliver a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service to oncology and haematology patients, including outpatients, day-case patients, and inpatients. Support the provision and management of high-cost drugs to Trust patients. Assist in the setup and delivery of oncology clinical trials. Ensure the safe and effective use of Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatment (SACT) and other oncology medications. Contribute to the development and monitoring of medicines optimization and management activities. Provide professional leadership and support to the oncology pharmacy team. Requirements: Education and Qualifications:

GPhC Registered. 1 year pre-registration training. Master's degree in pharmacy (MPharm) accredited by the GPhC. Previous experience working in an NHS hospital setting is essential.

Skills and Knowledge:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Strong knowledge of medicines and their applications.
