Receive training & overtime is available in this brand new Pump Engineer opportunity paying up to £35k DOE + regular overtime, on call (to take an odd phonecall only) in rotation. As the Pump Engineer you will be working on a range of construction equipment including pumps of various varieties, generators and diesel engines/diesel pumping equipment. You may have worked on mechanical pumps too. Commutable from Needham Market, Capel St Mary, Felixstowe and surrounding areas this Pump Engineer role is an extremely reactive position where you will support the company's needs in the day to day requirements of service, maintenance and repair of specialist equipment. Responsibilities of the Pump Engineer include: Full product training provided as the Pump Engineer to work on a range of pumps, pumpsets and accessories Some hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatics, electronic experience is desired Carrying out preventative maintenance to the company's hire equipment across your region & in your home depot Follow safety and housekeeping standards in your area of work both in the workshop and at customer sites Representing the company in a professional manner As the Pump Engineer, you must have previously worked in positions such as Engineer, Mechanic, Agricultural Engineer, Agricultural Mechanic, Generator Engineer, Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Engineer, Automotive Fitter, Hydraulic Fitter, Mechanical Fitter, Technician, Service Fitter, Service Engineer or similar. You will have previously worked within the plant hire, powered access hire industries or similar, like heavy goods, forklifts or material handling. You must hold a Full UK driving license. If this
