Pumps Engineer

to join our team based near Oxford. This role involves the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of a wide range of industrial and commercial pumps across various sectors. You will be working on-site and in the workshop, ensuring that equipment operates efficiently and reliably. Key Responsibilities: Installation, servicing, and repair of pumps, motors, and associated systems. Diagnosing faults and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical pump systems. Carrying out routine maintenance and inspections to prevent breakdowns. Working on various types of pumps, including centrifugal, submersible, and positive displacement. Ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations. Providing technical support and advice to customers as needed. Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records. Traveling to customer sites in the Oxfordshire area and occasionally beyond. Requirements: Previous experience in pump maintenance, repair, and installation. Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills. Knowledge of different types of pumps and their applications. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. A valid UK driving licence (essential). Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ, HNC, or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering preferred). Experience working in industries such as water treatment, HVAC, or manufacturing is advantageous. Benefits: Competitive salary up to 45,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
