As a Purchase Ledger Assistant, you'll join a team of professionals who are responsible for processing invoices for the entire organisation. You'll make sure every purchase ledger transaction is processed correctly and within the agreed timescales, supporting

the smooth daily operation of the Household. The high standards you'll aim for will provide the biggest challenge, as well as the greatest reward. Key Responsibilities: You’ll have responsibility for your own workload, be it coding invoices, reconciling statements or checking supplier details. Working as part of a team to meet deadlines will be critical to your success. Liaising with managers and internal customers will also be a big part of your role. Handling varied purchase enquiries and resolving any issues, the sheer variety of people you'll support will surprise you. Maintaining accurate records and updating Purchase Ledger systems, you'll support month-end processes and reporting. You'll have a keen eye for detail when processing and matching supplier invoices to purchase orders to help prepare and manage supplier payments. Essential Criteria: With a good working knowledge of finance procedures, you’ll already have some strong office administration experience. You'll possess strong mathematics and IT skills. Organised and detail focused, you're able to meet and often surpass daily targets. With your proactive approach and excellent communication skills, you're able to build positive working relationships. What's more, your approach to customer service will be second-to-none. And in all that you do, you'll carry out your work with impeccable attention to detail and faultless accuracy, whilst maintaining excellent customer service levels.
