As their Purchasing and Supply Chain Manager, you will be in charge of purchasing, ensuring customer service (delivering the highest standard at all times), exceptional product quality, finding new products while managing costs efficiently. You will also be responsible for Inventory and Supply Chain. Purchasing

Develop the purchasing portfolio with a complete, coherent, and competitive product range sourced worldwide. Liaise and develop long-term partnerships with suppliers. Negotiate pricing, discounts, and rebates while improving cost and margin for the company. Manage litigation with suppliers. Monitor competitors’ products and pricing. Manage stock level and place orders when required. Time management on order and delivery schedules (ensure orders are delivered on time). Manage stock levels through regular stock checks and stock takes and update the database. Efficiently manage stock rotation while minimizing wastage. Monitor consumption and wastage, pro-actively produce recommendations for changes. Put in place new processes to improve warehouse operations, limit wastage, and reduce picking errors. Manage transport companies’ performance and make recommendations for improvement when necessary. Manage logistics problems. Develop an efficient sampling system with the sales department and other purchasing administrators, and manage samples rotation. Proactively assist when required (e.g., fridge/operations problems, shortages, overstocks, accounts for cost, selling prices or product changes, new product creation, change of supplier, credits required). Update the database at all times on pricing, product, supplier, and reporting. Supply Chain

You will be managing Inventory to ensure accurate and up-to-date stock. Maintain an accurate stock level. Ensure all systems are updated at all times. Forecast future orders to maintain stock levels. Liaise with external suppliers. Control wastage and damaged stock ensuring all required systems are up to date. Organise collections from suppliers. Support Quality Supervisor. Support and liaise with other departments when required.
