Due to retirement, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team and contribute to our mission of excellence and innovation. Job Summary The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all procurement activities within the company. This role involves developing strategic procurement processes, maintaining supplier relationships, ensuring cost efficiency, and supporting the production team by securing high-quality materials on time. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchasing within the aerospace or manufacturing industry and possess excellent negotiation and leadership skills. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with company objectives. Manage the procurement process for all materials, components, and services required for production. Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable supply and competitive pricing. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve the best value. Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and supplier performance. Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement. Lead and mentor the purchasing team to enhance their skills and performance. Prepare and present regular reports on purchasing performance and cost savings to senior management. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, and contract negotiations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (Mietrak Pro). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Experience with CNC machining procurement. Professional certification in supply chain management.
