PVG Manager, UK QPPV - Home Based / Leeds - 9 months contract

Our client specializes in delivering medicines for patients with swallowing difficulties, across a range of therapeutic areas. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the QPPV oversight on all PVG processes and all aspects of the client's Pharmacovigilance system, and deputize for the UKQPPV during periods of absence. Serve as the backup company contact for competent authorities in Member States and the Agency (EMA), and as the backup regulator contact for pharmacovigilance inspections. Ensure effective PV oversight and inspection readiness, collaborating with Company Regulatory Affairs to respect safety conditions or obligations as part of the Marketing Authorisation. Lead the QPPV office activities, mentor, support, and supervise the QPPV office for the completion of their tasks. Ensure quality assurance within PV according to legal requirements and company standards, maintaining compliance of the client's PVG system and overseeing processes, SOPs & metrics. Manage a team of 4, utilizing PV Managerial skills. Travel to the office 1-2 times per month. Desirable Experience:
Bachelor’s in sciences/pharmacy/nursing degree or related field. Strong, proven leadership capability. Strategic thinking, business acumen, and project management skills. Excellent time management skills and ability to work to tight timelines. Ability to manage own workload and that of the assigned team, interacting well in a team environment.
