The role: As the Python Developer, you will be responsible for developing backend systems, creating and integrating APIs, and working with other team members to ensure the platform is scalable and efficient. The company: An independently owned software company developing solutions for customers within the transport and logistics sectors. Requirements: 1+ years of Python Development experience Experience with Flask or FastAPI The ability to write quality reusable and maintainable code Good knowledge of RESTful APIs TDD or BDD experience Good knowledge of version control Responsibilities: Developing and designing backend systems Creating and integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs Participating in code reviews Writing quality, reusable and maintainable code Nice to have skills and experience: NoSQL database knowledge e.g. MongoDB or DynamoDB AWS or other cloud technologies Serverless architecture Office Attendance: The exact number of days in the office depends on your location; however, the expectation is that if you are local to the office in North West Birmingham, you will be asked to visit the office 1 or 2 days per week. If you are not local, the expectation is that you will attend the office 1-2 times per month. This may differ from month to month depending on the projects, and you may not need to visit the office for 2 or 3 months at a time.
