Summary eClerx is looking for a skilled Python developer who is proficient in relational database platforms and has some Java coding experience. The candidate should have all the necessary skills of a developer such as technical specification writing, version control, unit testing, and agile methodologies. Your primary function will be to investigate and drive support resolution with senior external clients, internal stakeholders, and other engineering teams. You will serve as the point of escalation for support issues from the help desk. Candidates should work closely with the engineering team to resolve these issues, creating documentation/runbooks and code snippets to share with clients and internal engineering teams.

Responsibilities: Support role diagnosing and fixing coding issues within defined SLAs Work closely with the engineering team to drive resolution of client issues Influence and suggest improvements on the roadmap to enhance client experience, focusing on portfolio analytics Create documentation, runbooks, and code snippets to share with clients and internal engineering teams Execute on support issues while also building out the function and automating resolution of repeat issues

Required Skills and Experience: Between 4-10 years of overall technology experience Must be comfortable coding in Python, debugging API calls, writing quality-of-life snippets for clients, creating scripts for debug tooling Must have a basic knowledge of UI and API integration 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python Some coding experience in Java 3+ years in a support role Experience or keen to learn about financial markets Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels within technical and business organizations
