The role
Design, develop, implement and maintain comprehensive test automation frameworks across various testing layers (UI, API, database) Create, enhance and execute a long-term test automation strategy, both conceptually and working hands-on Research, evaluate, and implement new automation tools and technologies to enhance test efficiency Identify test automation opportunities, analyze test coverage, and optimize test suites for maximum efficiency Optimize test frameworks for reusability, maintainability, and speed to provide rapid feedback on application quality Mentor and guide the QA team in adopting automation best practices, providing technical leadership and support Foster a culture of knowledge sharing within the QA team through training and documentation.
What we need to see from you
Proven experience as an Automation Lead Engineer with a strong track record of building and implementing automation frameworks Expertise in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript) and test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Jest, xUnit, NSubstitute, FluentAssertions, Autofixture C#, PyTest/PyTest-BDD, Nose2). Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub) and modern branching strategies. Ability to lead and mentor QA engineers Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as ability to collaborate with various roles in an Engineering organisation (Developers, Architects, Product Manager etc.)
