As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our platform by focusing on automation and collaboration. Reporting to the Engineering Manager of your team, you will work closely with developers, architects, principals, product owners, and other QA Engineers to deliver high-quality software that meets user needs and aligns with organizational goals. This role is about driving automation-first testing and embedding quality into every phase of development. From analyzing requirements and creating test plans to implementing automated tests and validating releases, you will be integral to delivering exceptional software. Working as part of a cross-functional team, you’ll ensure testing strategies are robust, efficient, and scalable.

Responsibilities

You will collaborate with the Principal QA Engineer to align with broader QA strategies and contribute to improving testing practices, tools, and frameworks. Your work will help ensure smooth, reliable, and secure user experiences, while supporting the team’s agile delivery goals. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand requirements, identify edge cases, and define the definition of done. Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for frontend, backend, and API testing. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous delivery. Perform functional, integration, and regression testing with an automation-first approach. Monitor and analyze test results, troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure delivery timelines are met. Document and report bugs, ensuring timely resolution through collaboration with developers. Align with the Principal QA Engineer on testing frameworks, strategies, and best practices. Ensure testing aligns with organizational compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, WCAG). Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, refining processes and tools to enhance efficiency.

Experience

You are a QA Engineer who thrives on delivering quality software through automation and collaboration. You are passionate about embedding testing at the core of the development process, and you approach challenges with curiosity and a problem-solving mindset. You enjoy working in agile environments, collaborating closely with developers and product teams to ensure quality is built into every stage. You are detail-oriented and proactive, always seeking ways to improve efficiency and enhance user experiences. Skills and Experience Proven experience in quality assurance, with a strong focus on automation testing. Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright). Proficiency in testing frontend, backend, and APIs using automated test suites. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating tests into continuous delivery workflows. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in identifying and documenting issues. Understanding of Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups. Familiarity with industry compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, WCAG) and their impact on testing. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
