What You'll Do Test products and provide detailed reports about any issues or improvements required. Understand and analyse the architecture of the product under test. Maintain and enhance an existing Python codebase, ensuring code quality across libraries and scripts. Participate in peer reviews of solution designs and related code. Collaborate closely with QA engineers, automation engineers, developers, business analysts, and architects to plan, design, and develop effective tests. Assist in collecting and documenting test requirements, and contribute to the development of sprint tasks, estimates, and work plans. Contribute to the design and implementation of test automation frameworks, adhering to best practices and industry standards. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure code integrity while managing automated testing for the Set-Top Box. What You'll Bring Strong Python skills with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and their practical applications. Good knowledge of networking fundamentals, including the OSI model. Experience with continuous integration and deployment using Jenkins. Excellent debugging skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and identify root causes efficiently. Proficiency in using defect tracking tools such as Jira and Quality Centre (QC). A problem-solving mindset, with an analytical approach to simplifying complex challenges.
