QA Engineer
to join our growing engineering teams here at Edenred PayTech. Working as part of a larger team, and reporting to our QA Manager, you will be responsible for assurance of the quality of new features developed for our product groups and making sure our software meets or exceeds published metrics and quality benchmarks. In the role, you will develop new automated tests that ensure the quality of new feature development, drive improvements within QA, and ensure knowledge is spread across squads and teams. You will need experience with Java, and automation frameworks – JUnit or Selenium/Cucumber. What you will be doing: Development of new automated tests that ensure the quality of new feature development covering functional and non-functional tests Drive improvements to Quality Assurance Adherence to standards and best practices Ensure knowledge is spread across squads and teams Work as “one team” to ensure deliveries are on time and to a high quality – becoming “T-shaped” Analyse failing tests – triage, then deep dive to surface root cause Help identify areas of improvement i.e. Test run times or code effectiveness Skills & Experience Technical: Commercial experience in testing systems that incorporate micro-service architectures and web applications Required experience in the following: Java Automation framework – Junit or Cucumber BDD and TDD tools and techniques Data creation and curation API and web services (REST) XML/JSON SQL Working with source code repositories DevOps practices and principles AWS/Azure cloud services Working with large databases Linux/ Unix Jenkins Jira & Confluence Docker Tools: Git, Maven, Apache Tomcat ISTQB Foundation Certification (minimum) Behavioural: Analytical approach to defect resolution and remediation Well organized – able to plan own work and track progress against a plan Strong communicator - written & verbal - able to explain technical issues and solutions to peers Why Edenred PayTech?
