QA Lead & Office Administrator Location:

Chelmsford, Essex Salary:

£26,000 - £30,000 starting salary (pro rata) Job Type:

Permanent part-time (25 hours / week)

About Us: Oxbury is a professional practice of Chartered Surveyors looking to recruit a versatile Administrator, with Quality Assurance experience, to take on a very varied role. We anticipate the role being for 25 hours per week, but this is open for discussion and we will agree hours and working pattern with the successful candidate. The role is predominantly office based but hybrid working may be agreed after a probationary period.

About the role: You'll lead on Quality Assurance (ISO9001) work across the Company, including maintaining documentation, monitoring and ensuring compliance with processes, and carrying out internal audits. You'll also meet with external auditors and induct new staff in relation to our QA processes. In addition, you will provide secretarial and administrative support to a small team of Surveyors and will look after the day-to-day facilities management for our Chelmsford office. You will have plenty of autonomy to organise your time and workload, and the opportunity to be creative and to improve systems and processes as required.

About you: Experience working with, or a good working knowledge of, Quality Assurance systems. Prior experience in an Administrative or Secretarial role. Confidence using Microsoft Office software and copy / audio typing to produce documents and spreadsheets. Ability to organise your time and workload to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills both face-to-face and on the telephone. Have a high standard of written and spoken English and be numerate. Experience organising meetings and small events. Flexibility and a willingness to take on other tasks as required.

Benefits: 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, rising to 27 days after 5 years' service. Flexible and hybrid working opportunities. Relaxed and friendly workplace with regular social activities. Non-contributory pension scheme at 9% employer contribution. Access to employee discount scheme, on-demand GP appointments and 24-hour employee support line. Committed to equality, diversity and inclusion (Oxbury holds the RICS Inclusive Employer charter mark). Enhanced sick / maternity / paternity pay.
