Key Responsibilities:

  3. Test Planning:

    • Define test objectives, scope, resources, and timelines for multiple projects, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
    • Create detailed User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans, including test scenarios, scripts, schedules, and resource allocation.
  4. Execution:

    • Oversee the execution of UAT, ensuring thorough testing coverage and timely feedback to development teams.
    • Ensure that testing processes are adhered to and identify any gaps in coverage that need to be addressed.
  5. Issue Management:

    • Identify, document, and track defects or issues discovered during testing, ensuring that they are prioritized and communicated clearly to the development team.
    • Facilitate defect resolution and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely fixes and retesting.
  6. Automation:

    • Oversee the development and execution of automated test scripts to enhance the efficiency and repeatability of testing.
    • Integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure consistent testing across environments.
  7. Collaboration:

    • Work closely with development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and testing activities align with project milestones.
    • Collaborate on identifying and resolving issues throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  8. Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure that all testing processes adhere to industry best practices and internal standards.
    • Promote continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team to enhance testing efficiency, coverage, and effectiveness.
  9. Reporting:

    • Provide regular updates on testing progress, issues, and quality metrics to stakeholders, management, and project teams.
    • Ensure that comprehensive test reports and defect reports are delivered on time and are easily understood by technical and non-technical audiences.
  10. Continuous Improvement:

  • Drive continuous improvement in UAT processes and methodologies based on feedback, lessons learned, and evolving industry trends.
  • Advocate for and implement best practices in test automation, test case design, and overall testing strategies.
