QA Test Manager

We are looking for a skilled QA Test Manager to oversee and manage the testing processes for our software development and IT projects. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our systems meet both functional and non-functional requirements, delivering defect-free solutions that meet the highest quality standards.
Job Overview: The QA Manager will be responsible for managing the entire testing lifecycle, from planning to execution and reporting, to ensure that all software meets the desired quality standards before being released to production. This position requires strong leadership, collaboration, and a deep understanding of quality assurance processes to ensure successful and timely project delivery. You will work closely with development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure defects are identified and addressed promptly.
Key Responsibilities:

Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a team of QA analysts and testers, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture that ensures quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
- Provide guidance and support to the team, promoting continuous learning and development.

Test Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans, ensuring that testing processes are effective and cover all functional and non-functional requirements.
- Tailor testing approaches to align with project goals, timelines, and business needs.

Test Planning:
- Define test objectives, scope, resources, and timelines for multiple projects, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Create detailed User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans, including test scenarios, scripts, schedules, and resource allocation.

Execution:
- Oversee the execution of UAT, ensuring thorough testing coverage and timely feedback to development teams.
- Ensure that testing processes are adhered to and identify any gaps in coverage that need to be addressed.

Issue Management:
- Identify, document, and track defects or issues discovered during testing, ensuring that they are prioritized and communicated clearly to the development team.
- Facilitate defect resolution and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely fixes and retesting.

Automation:
- Oversee the development and execution of automated test scripts to enhance the efficiency and repeatability of testing.
- Integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure consistent testing across environments.

Collaboration:
- Work closely with development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and testing activities align with project milestones.
- Collaborate on identifying and resolving issues throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all testing processes adhere to industry best practices and internal standards.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team to enhance testing efficiency, coverage, and effectiveness.

Reporting:
- Provide regular updates on testing progress, issues, and quality metrics to stakeholders, management, and project teams.
- Ensure that comprehensive test reports and defect reports are delivered on time and are easily understood by technical and non-technical audiences.

Continuous Improvement:
- Drive continuous improvement in UAT processes and methodologies based on feedback, lessons learned, and evolving industry trends.
- Advocate for and implement best practices in test automation, test case design, and overall testing strategies.
