Site Superintendent / Construction Manager Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA/QC Welding Inspector to oversee the quality control and assurance activities for welding operations on a construction project. This role involves monitoring welding procedures, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards, and ensuring the overall quality of welded structures and components within the plant. Key Responsibilities: Welding Inspection:

Perform detailed inspections of welding processes, including visual and dimensional checks, to ensure that all work complies with engineering specifications, welding procedures, and project quality standards. Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain and manage welding inspection records, reports, and non-conformance documentation. Code and Standard Compliance:

Ensure that all welding activities adhere to industry standards, such as ASME, API, AWS, ISO, and project-specific codes. Verify that welds are performed according to approved procedures and specifications. Welder Qualification & Monitoring:

Monitor welder performance and provide feedback to ensure continuous quality. Quality Audits & Inspections:

Conduct regular quality audits of welding procedures and activities, ensuring adherence to the project's quality plan and identifying potential areas of improvement. Material & Equipment Inspection:

Ensure the correct materials and equipment are being used for welding, and verify compliance with the project’s material specification. Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with the construction team, welding supervisors, and contractors to address any quality issues, provide guidance on quality-related matters, and ensure smooth execution of welding activities. Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements, implement corrective actions when necessary, and contribute to a culture of continuous quality improvement. Qualifications:

CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector cert Preferred Skills and Experience: Experience in gas plant construction or similar industrial projects. Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in construction and welding operations. Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001). Strong understanding of welding processes, inspection techniques, and quality control methods. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, welding symbols, and project specifications. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced construction environment. Job Type:
