£32 per hour basic / OT rates 1.4 of basic £44.80 / 1.8 of basic £57.60 (1.4 after 37.5 hours / 1.8 midday sat and sunday) plus accommodation allowance (For applicable Candidates) Shift Pattern:

10 days on 4 days off / 10 hour shifts (DAYS) The Role: As a Welding / NDT QC inspector you will be responsible for overseeing the quality and safety of all welding, installation and fabrication activities, including dimensional inspection and inspecting and assessing the strength and quality of welds, ensuring the correct equipment is being used, checking weld specifications and ensuring all safety regulations are being adhered to. Duties and Responsibilities: Liaise with clients and production teams to establish good relationships Ensure Nuclear Safety by ensuring quality welding of materials Manage and control the ITP Contribute to continuous improvements Carry out work in line with the contract specifications and standards, through manufacture to treatment and then to delivery to site. Liaise with all sub-contractors and treatment works to carry out random inspections of these sites to ensure compliance to the required specifications as set out by contract and purchase orders. Complete inspections to ensure material at goods inwards meet the required standards. Ensure reports from visits to suppliers and sub-contractors to in-house inspections are produced and recorded with contract documentation. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the role. Adhere to Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Procedures. Skills and Experience: CSWIP 3.1 minimum PCN Level 2 PT - Essential PCN Level 2 Radiographic Interpretation - Essential Interpretation of ISO & engineering drawings Advanced knowledge of welding procedures & processes Excellent communication skills with a good eye for detail Good IT skills and ability to use Microsoft software to create reports, presentations, end of install/manufacturing reports Desirable: PCN Level 2 MT PCN Level 2 UT Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
