Hitachi Energy High Voltage Service is now hiring a QHSE Advisor

within our Staffordshire based team reporting to our QHSE Lead to ensure a consistent and seamless delivery of QHSE support. As an experienced QHSE Advisor, you will be responsible for Environmental and Employee Health & Safety activities related to the environment and Hitachi Energy employees. Developing and implementing policies and practices to identify/mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace and external environments. Investigating accidents and environmental incidents and liaising with engineers, management, and health and safety regulatory authorities to identify causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence. Providing advice and training on safety protocols and conducting audits to ensure compliance with organization and government standards related to environmental and employee health and safety. Maintaining relationships with the community, environmental groups, and other stakeholders impacted by the environmental performance of the organization. Collaborating with the wider Hitachi Energy team. Background:

Relevant associated qualification in QHSE. Experience of policies and procedures to ensure safety in the workplace. Knowledge and understanding of investigating and reporting accidents. Providing knowledge and guidance on compliance with the law. Experience working with diverse teams to develop, manage, and monitor QHSE performance. Familiarity with advising on all QHSE matters to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, company and contractual requirements, and good industry practice.
