TEXO Recruitment is happy to be recruiting for a QHSE Compliance & Systems Manager on behalf of our external client based in Darlington, on a Permanent Basis.

The QHSE Compliance & Systems Manager will be required, as part of a team, to carry out a wide range of QHSE-related activities, including but not limited to: Responsible for the administration, development, and continual improvement of the systems used to manage and report QHSE. Plan, coordinate, and perform QHSE activities required to maintain legal and MS compliance, providing inputs for analysis and review. Work with the QHSE team to develop, implement, and continually improve the Company and Project QHSE Standards and requirements. Assist in identifying and processing non-conformances, liaising with suppliers (internal and external), and providing corrective actions and lessons learned. Provide management system reports, maintain and update electronic information systems, and ensure documentation accuracy in line with Company procedures and policies. Promote best practices and safe systems of work within the QHSE Management systems, mentoring users and operators. Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

5 years minimum QHSE experience, ideally in Engineering. Knowledge of ISO MS Standards (9001, 14001, 45001). CQI Level 3 preferred. ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor certification preferred. NEBOSH certificate preferred. Good interpersonal skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Flexible and proactive approach. Strong written and spoken communication abilities. Ability to work to deadlines. Ability to read drawings. Structured approach to problem-solving. Basic measuring equipment proficiency. Good knowledge of calibration requirements. Computer literacy. Knowledge of stores and Goods Inwards processes. Strong problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn and develop QHSE-related skills. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Positive and flexible attitude. Ability to manage own workload effectively.
