Do you want full autonomy for all QHSE on our site reporting into our Operations Director? We are a high-volume consumables manufacturer in Wellingborough who needs your help as our new QHSE Coordinator to drive forwards all site Quality Assurance, Health & Safety and Environmental compliance. We only work a half day on a Friday!

BASIC SALARY: Up to £45,000 dependent on your relevant experience and qualifications

JOB DESCRIPTION: QHSE Coordinator, QHSE Manager - QHSE, ISO:9001, Chemicals, Manufacturing

You will have full autonomy for all site QHSE to include ISO:9001, ISO:14001 and ISO:45001.

But we need your focus initially to be on quality management, quality improvements (product and supplier) and corrective actions.

Reporting into the Operations Director, you will drive quality, site safety, and ensure we comply with all QHSE legislation, installing and maintaining a solid QHSE mindset throughout the site.

We are a low risk DSEAR site - with hot extruders and various chemicals stored. We also monitor our air quality, so you can understand how important this role is to us.

Your route cause analysis skills will be strong to get to the bottom of quality improvements and quality related (non-conformance issues and drive forward corrective actions (8D).

We are constantly introducing new products and processes into our manufacturing which you will control the QHSE element of so projects experience would be beneficial.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: QHSE Coordinator, QHSE Manager - QHSE, ISO:9001, Chemicals, Manufacturing

· Drive all QHSE related compliance throughout the business with a big focus on ISO:9001 and quality management
· Deal with customer complaints (non-conformance) - find the route cause and implement effective countermeasures (8D) to improve our product quality
· Investigate accidents and HSE risks to our staff - put in place counteraction
· Reduce the impact of environment issues including waste, energy, renewable materials etc
· Assist with NPI and process improvements

YOUR BACKAGOUND: QHSE Coordinator, QHSE Manager - QHSE, ISO:9001, Chemicals, Manufacturing

· Strong background in quality management, quality improvements, route cause and corrective actions
· You will likely have an ISO9001 related qualification such as Internal Auditor Training, CQI, IRCA etc
· Experience of driving QHSE compliance across a manufacturing facility
· Be competent with quality related inspection techniques
· Hold your IOSH Managing Safely, CSP, NEBOSH certification or equivalent
· You might have six sigma or similar related qualifications - if not we might be able to sponsor you through them

This will suit applicants with a strong broad background in quality management or QHSE gained in a manufacturing facility and would suit an experienced Manager, Coordinator, Supervisor or Engineer looking to step up.
