QHSE Manager
QHSE Manager focuses on leads by example to promote a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and safety.
What the role involves
- Leads by example to promote a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and safety.
- Ensures adherence to business management systems, auditing against AS9100, ISO 13485, and ISO 9001 standards.
- Drives proactive health and safety initiatives, monitoring and improving processes to maintain compliance and reduce incidents.
- Ensures personal data handling is compliant with GDPR and other relevant regulations.
- Develops and implements quality strategies and internal policies in conjunction with the Lead QHSE Manager.
- Manages a team of inspectors and engineers, ensuring effective performance and engagement.
Skills and requirements
- NEBOSH Level 5 NVQ or equivalent (training may be provided for the right candidate).
- Quality management qualification advantageous.
- Substantial experience in quality engineering/management is essential.
Candidate fit
- Full-time Onsite role, 5 days per week in Bridgwater.
Additional role context
- Oversees the site’s health, safety, and environmental management systems.
- Encourages reporting of hazards and near misses, investigating incidents with line managers.
- Proven ability to write and implement policies and procedures.
