What the role involves
- Develop the QHSE strategy, ensuring compliance with UK legislation, ISO standards, and company policies.
- Overseeing audits, inspections, risk assessments, and contractor management to maintain accreditations.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental, and Hygiene practices.
- Managing customer complaints and produce action plans to ensure swift resolution and ongoing service excellence.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant Health & Safety qualifications (IOSH essential, NEBOSH desirable) and proven experience in QHSE management.
- Strong working knowledge of UK Health & Safety law and ISO accreditation processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Proven track record in a fast-paced manufacturing or operational environment, delivering measurable improvements.
