QSHE & Energy Business Partner required (Derby)

The successful candidate will coordinate, support, and advise the business on all aspects of Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment (QSHE) and Energy. Integrity . As a QSHE & Energy Business Partner, you will be expected to demonstrate these values in your working practices. Please note, to be considered for this role, it’s essential you have previous experience working in the scaffolding industry within both commercial and industrial environments. Knowledge of protective coatings, thermal insulation, and industrial cleaning is an advantage. Main Duties and Responsibilities / Key Results Areas : QA (Quality Assurance) Provide guidance, assistance, and personal support to personnel on QA related topics. Co-ordinate the preparation and implementation of the QSHE Integrated Management System, supporting operations with the preparation of documents and records. Support with the monitoring and implementation of Quality Plans and Quality Control Plans for products and projects (as required). Co-ordinate and complete QA training (process related). Implement QSHE Internal Audit Programme and Supplier Audit Programmes. Actively participate in audits, collate findings, and compile QA audit reports. Register, action, and close-out NCRs and CARs that are project-related. Analysis and preparation of QSHE performance & input to quality improvement initiatives. Inspect built Scaffolding erections at height. SHE (Safety, Health, Environmental & Energy) Business Partnering Provide guidance, assistance, and support to employees on SHE related topics. Prepare and implement QSHE Integrated Management System support documents and records. Cooperate and advise in the monitoring and implementation of QSHE Contract Management plans. Support and advise in the monitoring and implementation of QSHE Plans and QSHE Interface Documents for general projects. Manage QSHE Audit Programmes for the business. Conduct safety audits, collate findings, and compile QSHE audit reports. Provide monthly statistical information on QSHE performance and maintain QSHE records. Generate business reports following QSHE Site Inspections / Safety Tours. Analyze QSHE performance & input to quality improvement initiatives. Support QSHE training activities and update assigned Course Training Packages (CTPs). Professionally manage the company accident/incident reporting process, support incident investigations & reporting, and liaise with insurers on claims reports utilizing the Incident Management Systems. Provide KPI data including Targets & Objectives information for input into monthly & annual reports. Person Specification Able to effectively business partner and act as a trusted expert advisor to senior operational stakeholders. Good analytical/problem-solving skills. Able to plan, control, and balance competing priorities. Good time manager and able to consistently meet deadlines. Good computer literacy and writing skills for reports. Good range of practical communication skills. Experience in delivering risk management, inspection, audit, investigation, and training. Experience of working at height. Qualifications To be considered for this role, you will need to have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role in an industrial working environment (ideally scaffolding, thermal insulation, and industrial painting) and hold a valid NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent. You will also need to be a professional member of IOSH, and having an Internal Auditor Certificate is desirable. Work Location Based in Derby (DE24 8AA), providing support to Midlands and Southeast England (Rainham network of Enigma-IS sites).
