Qualified Social Worker - Senior Support and Family Safeguarding Team Are you an experienced Qualified Social Worker looking for a new challenge at a senior level? Join our Support and Family Safeguarding Team in Slough and make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-level social work practice and interventions within a support and family safeguarding setting. Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families, identifying their needs and risks. Develop and implement effective support plans, ensuring the provision of appropriate services. Collaborate with internal and external partners, including schools, healthcare professionals, and community organizations. Act as a mentor and resource for less experienced social workers, providing guidance and support. Keep up to date with relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in social work. Contribute to case conferences, court proceedings, and other multi-agency meetings. Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping, maintaining confidentiality and data protection. Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Social Worker with relevant social work qualification and registration with a professional body. Extensive experience in child protection and family safeguarding, including complex cases. In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
