The Role:
Responsible for a variety of accounting tasks reporting to the Director Processing accounts payable and receivable Reconciling bank statements Maintaining general ledger accounts Assisting with the completion of VAT returns Managing supplier invoices and payments Chasing overdue payments Assisting with month-end procedures Maintaining accurate accounting records in accordance with best practices Reconciling foreign currency accounts PayPal reconciliation
Skills and Attributes required: We are looking for a highly organised and efficient Accountant, Chartered Accountant Minimum qualified AAT level 4, or equivalent Experience in a busy accountancy firm, or accounts department in a similar role Able to work well in a small team Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Organised, able to prioritise workload effectively Excellent communication skills Able to work independently Proficient in Microsoft Office Knowledge of Sage 50, Quickbooks
The Hours: Full Time or Part time from 30 hours per week Week days 09:00 - 17:30 Open for discussion
