Qualified Accountant

The Firm: A large international accountancy firm with offices globally are looking to invite a qualified Accountant to join their team in Newcastle supporting with accounting compliance. The Brief: Working in a large team delivering accounting compliance and outsourcing services to a portfolio of clients. You will be working with an extremely diverse and wide ranging list of clients. Your aim is to provide reporting support to your clients in an accurate and timely manner. The Role: Your responsibilities will incorporate bookkeeping, statutory accounting (UK GAAP and IFRS) and regulatory accounting, assisting with the delivery of these services. You will have the opportunity to develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel, whilst building strong internal relationships within your local and wider team. You will also play an active role in review work for those more junior in experience. Experience Required: Applicants must be qualified (ACA/ACCA/CA) or equivalent, working in the accountancy profession within an accounting practice and have a minimum of three to four years accounting experience, familiar with UK GAAP and IFRS accounting principles. Individuals must possess a real desire to develop their technical skills by working within the team and engaging with more experienced staff. You will be a natural communicator, able to build relationships with those from both large and small businesses. You will need to demonstrate your ability to utilise research effectively and explain complex subjects in a clear manner.
