Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified accountant to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent client management skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Servicing a portfolio of clients.
Overseeing and reviewing the preparation of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
Overseeing and reviewing the preparation of self-assessment and corporation tax returns.
Providing tax planning advice and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Liaising with clients to address queries and provide financial guidance.
Assisting with audits and ensuring adherence to industry standards.
Supervising and mentoring junior staff members.
Requirements
ACA or ACCA qualified.
A minimum of 3 years post-qualified experience in a similar role within an accounting practice.
Comprehensive knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage).
Ability to use Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for spreadsheet creation and financial analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and deadlines.
