A growing and highly regarded accountancy practice based in Taunton is looking to bolster their team with the addition of a Qualified Audit Senior. The role is offering increasing technical responsibility, client contact/management, and scope to develop your audit and accounting career following qualification within a leading firm environment. Client Details The firm has an excellent reputation across Taunton and the wider South West and UK, undergoing continued growth and expansion. The firm services a wide-ranging client base including larger corporates, PLCs, smaller OMBs, and SMEs across varying industry sectors and turnovers, alongside not-for-profit/charity and other specialist sector industries. The firm provides a structured environment with a clearly defined achievable progression path and genuine opportunity to progress in your career post-qualification. The firm offers a mix of home-to-office working, flexible hours, and highly competitive remuneration and benefit packages. Full-time and part-time hours can be explored. Description As a Qualified Audit Senior, you will be responsible for the provision of audit service delivery to a wide range of OMBs, larger corporates, charities, and other specialist sector clients. You will lead onsite with audit team supervision as you develop within the firm and role, looking to fully supervise a portfolio of clients over time. You will take responsibility for all aspects of their audit services and other ad hoc project work as it arises. You will manage the process from planning and carrying out audit fieldwork to statutory financial reporting and completion work. Your experience and level of responsibility will increase as you develop and progress within the firm, with increasing client contact and management responsibility on offer. Profile You will be ACA/ACCA qualified with a career background focused on audit, or mixed across audit/accounts, developed within a UK-based accountancy practice of any size. You will have developed your career to around the Qualified Audit Senior level and be looking to take your career to the next level within a firm and role where you can see a genuine clear progression and development path on offer. Job Offer £38,000 - £42,000 dependent on level of experience, plus benefits.
