We are looking for a skilled fully Qualified Automotive Technician to maintain and repair vehicles. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and repairing, aiming to maximize reliability and functionality of the customers' vehicles. You will be experienced in complex mechanical and electrical systems of vehicles and have excellent problem-solving abilities. We are looking for a team player. Responsibilities:

Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately. Inspect vehicle computer and electrical systems to repair, maintain and upgrade. Conduct routine maintenance work. Repair or replace broken or faulty parts and fix issues. Provide accurate quotes for a repair or maintenance job. Maintain equipment and tools in good condition. Use the workshop computer system SAM, which includes clocking into and out of jobs, ordering parts and quoting jobs. Perform wheel alignments, puncture repairs, and tyre fitting. You will be working at our workshop located at 68 Elizabeth Ave, Rakaia. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm. 40 hours minimum work per week. Requirements: WOF authority required. This is a MUST.
