Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental practitioners in delivering high-quality dental services. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and proficiency in IT to manage patient records and appointments efficiently. Responsibilities Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment prior to procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules using dental software. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing their concerns. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the treatment area and waiting room. Participate in continuing education and training to stay updated on best practices in dental care. Qualifications Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and colleagues professionally. Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems. Previous experience in a dental practice is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is crucial. A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times.
