We are looking for a part-time Trained Dental Nurse to join our growing team, based at Honour Health Jesmond. The Honour Health Group is an award-winning group of dental practices providing NHS and high-level private dentistry. You will have the opportunity to work with implant dentists, oral surgeons, endodontists, and cosmetic dentists. There are training opportunities to enhance your DCP skills.
Our ideal candidate will be somebody who is:

Have great organisational skills
Responsibilities:
Preparation of the surgery and instruments prior to the surgical session
Escorting clients into surgery and preparing them for treatment
Providing chair-side assistance during all dental procedures
Managing the clinician's lab work, liaising with reception and dental labs as needed
Maintaining a clean environment before, during, and after each surgical session
Cleaning and sterilising all instruments after each client, adhering to practices cross-infection policy
Ensuring all clinical and hazardous waste is disposed of in the appropriate manner compliant with current medical regulations
Ensuring that all surgical equipment is maintained as per manufacturer's instructions and is cleaned appropriately
Attend and participate in practice meetings
Undergo training as may be required to develop skills and abilities
