Start date - ASAP We are looking for a part-time Trained Dental Nurse to join our growing team, based at Honour Health Jesmond. Our ideal candidate will be somebody who is: Motivated and ready to support the dental team to provide excellent patient care Passionate about caring for patients Able to work well as part of a team Have good IT skills Have great organisational skills Responsibilities: Preparation of the surgery and instruments prior to the surgical session Escorting clients into surgery and preparing them for treatment Providing chair-side assistance during all dental procedures Managing the clinician's lab work, liaising with reception and dental labs as needed Maintaining a clean environment before, during, and after each surgical session Cleaning and sterilising all instruments after each client, adhering to practices cross-infection policy Ensuring all clinical and hazardous waste is disposed of in the appropriate manner compliant with current medical regulations Ensuring that all surgical equipment is maintained as per manufacturer's instructions and is cleaned appropriately Attend and participate in practice meetings Undergo training as may be required to develop skills and abilities Benefits Include: Central Location Special leave to celebrate your birthday (after 2 years of service) Extra holidays after 5 years of service Continuous career progression Progression (study budget 2 years post-qualification) GDC paid CPD paid Indemnity paid Discounted travel passes Team building events Uniform provided Job Types:
