I am currently working with a well-established family-run, high-end independent practice who are now looking for a Qualified Dispensing Optician to join their close-knit team. This practice is well known for their reputation and boasts excellent customer service and is located in a quaint town outside the Reading area.
Very high-end, modern practice with all the latest equipment, 2 clinic practice with a team of around 6 strong all experienced, work well together and support each other daily.
My client is looking to offer a competitive package, sociable hours as well as the opportunity to work in a relaxed high-end and modern independent. This is a 4 or 5 day role, including Saturdays but no Sundays or Bank Holidays.
Up to £36,000 basic Sales based bonus scheme 1 weekend off per month, no Sundays or Bank Holidays Hours are 9 to 5 in the week and 9 to 4 on Saturdays
Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician You will be able to confidently and competently dispense to all levels as this will be the main focus of your role as well as repairs, adjustments, and occasional reception work. A key part of this role is to work efficiently as part of a team, support your fellow colleagues, and work together to provide a high level of customer service. My client prides themselves on the image they have built over the past 25 years and are therefore looking for passionate, enthusiastic individuals looking for a long-term career to grow alongside the practice.
Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
You must be GOC registered (open to experience)
Be able to provide excellent customer service
Have a positive and warm attitude along with a passion for optics
Be driven and want to develop within your role
Be able to work individually and as part of a team
Working 4 weekdays + Saturdays, hours are 9am to 5:30pm on weekdays and 9am to 4:30pm on Saturdays (No Sundays or Bank Holidays)
Compensation for the Qualified Dispensing Optician For your efforts, there is a very rewarding and competitive salary on offer of up to £36,000 + a rewarding bonus scheme (Approx £1.5k per annum) along with other benefits. Sociable hours and flexibility on weekends (one off per month)
