This well-established opticians are looking for an experienced Qualified Dispensing Optician. You will be joining a large successful practice on the high street in Maidenhead where you will be well supported by a big team who all work together. This vacancy is open to full or part time, but will include Fridays and Saturdays as part of your working week. Working within this large, modern equipped store and well supported team, you will be able to demonstrate first and foremost excellent customer service as well as a high level of sales ability. Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

The role will primarily involve you being a senior member of the team on the shop floor in the dispensing team. You will also be conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches. This person is also required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on best options. Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and helping with the smooth running of the practice. Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

You must be GOC registered and up to date with CET points. Have previous experience in dispensing within a large, busy and fast-paced environment. You will be a friendly, yet professional person who is able to work within a team, whilst also create relationships and build rapport with patients. You will have previous optical experience and be competent in all dispensing as well as having a wide range of frames and lens knowledge. You will handle the majority of children's and complex dispensing and you will use your expertise and clinical experience to troubleshoot and deal with any issues as they arise. For your efforts a competitive salary package dependant on your experience is on offer. Salary up to £35,000. A sales based bonus scheme where you can earn up to £200 per month. 33 days holiday including bank holidays. Fees paid.
