Job Title: Qualified Maths Teacher Location: East of England, Essex, Southend-on-Sea Job Type: Permanent, expected to work full-time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £31350 - £43607 per annum Job Duties: Plan and deliver engaging and effective maths lessons to students Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback Create a positive and inclusive learning environment Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Degree in Mathematics or related field Proven experience teaching maths at the secondary level Education: Degree in Mathematics or related field Experience: Proven experience teaching maths at the secondary level Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Maths Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners Effective classroom management skills Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Education Experience working with special educational needs students Working Conditions: The role involves working in a school setting, adhering to school hours and term dates.
