Job Description

Randstad is seeking a qualified Nursery Assistant to collaborate with partnered schools in East Grinstead. The ideal candidate will have a true passion for working with young children, excellent communication skills, and a nurturing approach. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the daily nursery operations and fostering the holistic development of the children in your care. Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience Access to ongoing professional development and training Supportive and inclusive work environment Career growth and progression opportunities Paid holiday leave Pension scheme Key Responsibilities: Assist in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities to promote children's learning and development Ensure a safe, stimulating, and secure environment where children can explore and learn Support children with personal care tasks, including feeding, toileting, and nap routines Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues through effective communication Observe and document children's progress, highlighting achievements and areas for further development Collaborate with colleagues to create a warm, inclusive, and welcoming nursery environment Follow all safeguarding, health, and safety policies and procedures Qualifications and Experience: Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting is preferred Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) Paediatric First Aid certification is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team Genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth How to Apply:
