We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with young children, strong communication abilities, and a nurturing approach. As a Nursery Assistant, you'll play an essential role in supporting daily nursery activities and fostering the holistic development of the children in your care.

Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage children's learning and development Maintain a safe, stimulating environment where children can thrive Assist with children's personal care routines, including feeding, toileting, and rest times Build positive connections with children, families, and colleagues, ensuring clear and open communication Observe and record children's progress, celebrating achievements and identifying growth areas Collaborate with team members to foster a warm and inclusive nursery environment Adhere to safeguarding and health and safety policies consistently

Qualifications and Experience: Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting is preferred Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain) Paediatric First Aid qualification is an advantage Strong communication and teamwork skills A genuine passion for supporting young children's development
