We’re looking for 3 x full time Qualified Nursery Practitioners to work 40 hours, fully flexible at our Fishersgate setting. At Kiddie Capers Fishersgate, we provide a stimulating and enabling environment for children aged 0-5 years old, located near the Eastbrook Manor Community Centre and Shark Park. Our nursery offers a unique outdoor space, including a surrounding field and park, where children can explore and relate their experiences to their everyday life. Our nursery features dedicated areas for babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers, with a separate private entrance for the baby group. The main building for 2 years up also has its own entrance, allowing our experienced staff to build strong relationships with all the children in our care. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, creating activities that cater to each child's unique needs and promoting their holistic growth across various areas of development. At Kiddie Capers, we truly believe in living our values every day: Celebrating Diversity Respect & Empathy for the Individual Quality of Care A Passion for Integrity Teamwork Main Duties: Provide high quality care and activities for children in a secure, safe and stimulating environment Organise activities that encourage creative development, independence, self-expression, and learning through play Participate in the keyperson system and be responsible for a group of children, monitoring and reporting on their development Follow the Early Years Foundation Stage framework in your practice Work in partnership with parents and carers Be aware of child protection issues by following the nursery’s Safeguarding Children policies Participate in professional development and training Prepare and serve food, milk, drink and snacks to children Assist children with personal care, including changing nappies and potty training Carry out health and safety checks to ensure a tidy, safe, clean and secure environment Ensure key children’s Learning Journeys are kept up to date Report when resources run low Participate in free flow systems to aid children’s development Requirements: A minimum of level 2 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent Experience of working in a childcare setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Key benefits: Attendance bonus paid monthly Amazing discounts across retail, leisure and utilities Termly Employee Appreciation Incentives Wellbeing support, including an Employee Assistance Programme Your Birthday off after 1 year’s service Sick Pay Increased holiday allowance with length of service Discounted childcare across all our sites Free parking on site Development opportunities in a rapidly growing company Opportunities to study and gain qualifications through us Pay: For a Level 2 Qualified, we offer a rate of £12.50 per hour (FTE salary of £26,000 based on 40 hours per week) For a Level 3 Qualified, we offer a rate of £13.50 per hour (FTE salary of £28,080 based on 40 hours per week) Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Expected hours: 40 per week Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday No weekends Application question(s): Do you live within 10 miles of the nursery?
