Room Leader or Qualified Nursery Practitioner Nurse Seekers are proud to be recruiting a passionate, experienced Room Leader or Qualified Nursery Practitioner for a high-quality day nursery based near Benson, Wallingford. The successful candidate must have a real passion for childcare and adding to the development of each and every child in their care! Key Responsibilities Support all staff and engage in a good staff team Liaise with and support parents and other family members Be involved in out of working hours activities, e.g. training, monthly staff meetings, parent evenings, fundraising events, etc. Be flexible within working practices of the nursery and be prepared to help where needed Work alongside the Manager and staff team to ensure that the nursery’s philosophy is fulfilled Be constantly aware of the individual needs of all children Requirements Holds an appropriate Level 2 or 3 Early Years Childcare Qualification or equivalent Has knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety practices Is passionate about working with children and supporting their development Has a caring, nurturing, and positive attitude Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills The successful candidate can look forward to a competitive salary with additional benefits such as in-house training and career progression opportunities.
