Joining the firm as a Qualified Senior Accountant based out of the firm's Truro offices, you will take on increasing responsibility for managing the full hands-on provision of varied accounts, tax, and wider general practice services to a mixed and wide-ranging client base. Clients are varied across wide-ranging industries including limited companies, SMEs, OMBs, smaller sole traders, and partnerships, with clients up to the audit threshold in turnovers on the largest. You will manage the hands-on provision of year-end accounts preparation, tax, and wider general practice services to your clients, in both a hands-on and review role. You will look to develop added value relationships with your clients, carving a key role within this office and firm, working with managers and directors on planning and advisory work. You will assist in managing a wider team, reviewing work, and supporting junior staff in their development. There will be scope to carve a key position within this growing office and progress in your career. Profile
You will be ACA or ACCA qualified or equivalent, with a career background developed within accountancy practice as a qualified senior accountant professional. You will have a recent background working for a UK-based accountancy practice, in both a hands-on and/or managerial review capacity, or with the demonstrable ability to step up into this level of role, overseeing the delivery of accounts, tax services, and wider services to a mixed client base of limited companies, SMEs, OMBs, sole traders, and partnerships.
