As a Qualified Senior Accountant based out of the Wells offices, you will manage the full hands-on provision of varied accounts, tax, and general practice services to a mixed and wide-ranging client base. Clients include limited companies, SMEs, OMBs, as well as smaller sole traders and partnerships, with some clients exceeding the audit threshold in turnovers. You will be responsible for year-end accounts preparation, tax services, and wider general practice services, while developing added value relationships with your clients. This role includes working with managers and directors on planning and advisory work, assisting in managing a wider team, reviewing work, and supporting junior staff in their development. There is significant potential for career advancement within this growing office. Profile

For this position, you will be ACA or ACCA qualified with a career background developed within accountancy practice as an experienced Senior Accountant. A recent background working for a UK-based accountancy practice in either a hands-on or managerial review capacity is essential, or you should demonstrate the ability to step up into this level of role. You will oversee the delivery of accounts, tax services, and wider services to a mixed client base of limited companies, SMEs, OMBs, sole traders, and partnerships. Circa £33,000 - £38,000 plus benefits, negotiable dependent on experience and background of the right professional.
