We are looking to recruit a

Social Worker

in the 16+ Children Leaving Care Team within Merton. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their social worker staffing levels.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable working environment with experienced leadership, whilst receiving regular supervision and training opportunities. Merton ensures that their social workers have as much support as possible, helping them to keep a really good work-life balance!

Responsibilities: Make a positive change in young people's lives as they move out of the care system to independent living. Play a key part in transforming the lives of young people to enable them to integrate into the community. Co-work with Social Workers and Personal Advisers in the team to aspire to high standards. Be a part of a vibrant team shaping practice standards within the service, delivering positive outcomes collaboratively.

The CM16+ team has always been highly regarded by internal and external auditors.

Minimum Requirements: Social Work England registration Eligibility to work in the UK Social Work qualified (MA/BSc/DipSW/CQSW/MSc/BA)
