Qualified Social Worker, Barnet London Borough Council, Children & Family Services - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team. The team works extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager. The responsibilities will include: Child protection work including assessments Core groups Child in Need work PLO processes and undertaking written agreements and any assessments as part of that process Court work including writing statements and Looked after children plans until final orders are made Duty system and completing visits and meetings for other members of the team 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation). 3 month Temporary Contract at least. Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance. The successful candidate will need to hold a Social Work Degree or equivalent, must be registered with Social Work England, have a current DBS, and be a car driver.
