Qualified Social Worker, Hull City Council, Childrens Fostering Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team. The team works extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager. The responsibilities will include: Comprehensive knowledge of the statutory framework for fostering and post order services. Knowledge and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Ability to deal with conflict across a range of issues and support others to identify solutions to problems. Ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children, young people, and families. Ability to influence, support, and challenge across a range of contexts within and outside of the authority. Ability to present complex, sensitive, or contentious information to a range of audiences. Experience of assessment and planning, initiating, monitoring, developing, and providing outcomes-driven services in the Children’s Social Care arena.
