Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a Social Worker within the Adult Mental Health Team to work full time based in Harrow. The salary for this permanent Social Worker job is up to £42,459 per annum. Key Responsibilities: To work in a strengths-based way with adults and their families and carers, including those who are terminally ill, collaborating with multi-disciplinary colleagues, providing advice and information, and liaising with other agencies. To have person-centred conversations with people and carers, evaluating the level of risk and conducting evidence-based analysis of need while promoting independence. To assess for and provide equipment and minor adaptations to promote independence, monitoring these as necessary. To maintain and take responsibility for effectively managing a personal caseload, including complex cases, in consultation with the Team Manager. To work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring cooperation with other professionals to provide an easily accessible service. To ensure that people and their carers are involved in all decisions and recommend advocates where appropriate. To assist in the planning of services in consultation with other professionals to enable people to remain as independent as possible. To prepare and present reports clearly and concisely, contributing to multi-agency conferences and meetings, including court hearings. To seek advice and guidance on matters needing resolution and report shortfalls in services to line managers. To offer advice to other workers in the multi-disciplinary team where a social worker has a particular level of skill or knowledge. To undertake any other duties required commensurate with the general level of responsibility of the post. Requirements of this role: Social work qualification with registration with Social Work England. Experience in managing social work caseloads and supervising others. Experience of community and/or group work. Knowledge of children's health and social care systems, agencies, and relevant legislation.
