Qualified Social Worker, Rochdale Council, Child Protection & Care Proceedings Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team. The responsibilities will include: Managing complex child protection work and care proceedings. Range of work is from Child in Need to Adoption which gives workers a really good opportunity to gain experience across these areas. Agency workers are seen as an important resource and are given the same level of support and opportunities as permanent staff. Commitment to continuing to embed our Relational Practice Model and to keeping caseloads at a manageable level. A cohort of Advanced Practitioners with reduced caseloads to coach and mentor the staff in their teams. 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation). 3 month Temporary Contract. Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance. Successful candidates will benefit from: A Kindle Fire upon commencement of contract (see terms). £20 Amazon voucher if registration is completed within 2 weeks (see terms). Competitive pay rates. Receive up to £250 for each referred worker (see terms). The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent, must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS and be a car driver.
